With actiPLANS the process of leave request management becomes all but trivial. All it takes to for a user to submit a leave request is just select a date, then the type of leave they’d like to take and click submit.

Request Approval

User in charge of approving requests will receive an instant email notification informing them of the new request. Upon reviewing it they’ll have a choice to approve, modify or reject it. Regardless of their decision, the user will be automatically notified on any changes to the status of their request.

Absences Export to Outlook and Google Calendar

Employee leave schedules can be easily exported from actiPLANS to external calendar apps such as Outlook, Google Calendar and other iCal-based systems. Admins can create and configure iCalendar Feeds, sharing them with their colleagues as necessary, while regular users can subscribe to the shared feeds. This feature is a convenient way to coordinate own time off with that of your colleagues and integrate corporate leave schedule into Google Calendar and similar apps.

Email Notifications on Leave Request Statuses

actiPLANS offers real-time email notifications that inform managers on new leave requests and employees on their requests’ statuses. It’s also possible to set up a reminder for leave managers on leave requests waiting for approval.

When an employee submits, modifies or deletes a leave request, their manager receives a notification.

A notification is also sent to the employee when their manager approves or rejects their leave request.
